1. What are cookies

A cookie is a small text file stored on the Users computer or mobile device when accessing the school.mir.md website. Cookies allow the site to recognize the device, remember certain settings (e.g. the selected language) and ensure the correct operation of its features (e.g. login, session). Some of the preferences we save (e.g. your cookie consent) are stored locally in the browser via localStorage, not as classic cookie files sent to the server.

Depending on their storage period, we use session cookies (deleted when the browser is closed) and persistent cookies (kept for a set period). All cookies used on this site are first-party (set directly by school.mir.md) — as of this policys update, the site does not use any third-party cookies (analytics or advertising).

3. Managing cookies
